Two of the strongest heroes from recent booster sets have finally ended their reign in the Classic Constructed format. While they’ll continue their journey in the Living Legend format, one question now echoes through the community: Who will rise to the top this season?
Zen, Tamer of Purpose
Zen, the Mystic Ninja from Part the Mistveil, captivated players with his explosive combo attacks and the unique ability to transcend, unlocking Inner Chi. His signature weapon, Tiger Taming Khakkara, and a suite of powerful cards like Bonds of Ancestry and Art of War made him a formidable force on the battlefield.
Zen's consistency in generating Crouching Tiger is what made him truly dangerous, a nonstop barrage of one-damage tigers that eventually overwhelms even the sturdiest defense.
Enigma, Ledger of Ancestry
Enigma, the Illusionist hero, brought a strategic depth to the game with her ability to amass Spectral Shield tokens and ward auras. Utilizing cards like Manifestation of Miragai and Traverse the Universe, Enigma could build an overwhelming board presence, challenging even the most aggressive opponents.
Ask anyone what the best defensive deck in Flesh and Blood is, and nine out of ten players will say Enigma. With a wealth of tools to generate ward auras, you know you can outlast your opponent in the long game.
Both Enigma and Zen will no longer be legal for Classic Constructed Tournament play as of April 25.
