In Beyblade X, victory isn’t just about launching your Beyblade, it’s about strategy, precision, and taking advantage of the game’s explosive new mechanics. Matches are fast-paced and intense, with points awarded based on how you defeat your opponent. The first blader to reach 4 points wins the match. Points are earned through the following finishes:
1) Spin Finish (1 Point)
When your opponent's Beyblade stops spinning before yours. Balance and endurance can be crucial because stamina is important in this situation. This finish earns one point for control and consistency.
2) Over Finish (2 Points)
This type of knockout is when you completely remove your opponent from the stadium. This kind of victory emphasizes forceful attacks and effective launch strategies. You will receive two points due to its difficulty and impact.
3) Burst Finish (2 Points)
When your attack breaks your opponent's Beyblade during combat. To pull this off, timing, power, and the proper set of components are essential. It receives two points, just like the Over Finish.
4) Xtreme Finish (3 Points)
The Xtreme Finish is the game's most thrilling and high-scoring move. This happens when you launch a devastating knockout which is one of Beyblade X's signature mechanics by using the high-speed rail system. It receives a huge 3 points due to its speed, accuracy, and spectacle.
The Xtreme Dash feature is what really makes Beyblade X unique. Beyblades can accelerate rapidly throughout the stadium thanks to the high-speed rail system, resulting in explosive and unpredictable battles. It's an advanced experience that blends adrenaline and strategy.

Understanding Matchups in Beyblade X
In Beyblade X, success starts before the launch. Planning which Beyblade and components to use against your opponent is a crucial step in maximizing your Beyblade’s full potential. Understanding matchups allows players to make smarter decisions and gain the upper hand during battle.
There are four main playstyles for players to choose from. However, Beyblade X offers deep customization options, meaning players can mix and match parts to create unique builds that suit their strategy and personal playstyle.
Attack Type
Attack types move aggressively around the stadium and actively seek out clashes. Their main objective is to score knockouts by hitting opponents with powerful, high-speed strikes. These Beyblades often take advantage of mobility and explosive movement to push opponents out of the stadium or trigger high-impact finishes.
The strategy behind Attack types is simple: overwhelm the opponent before they can stabilize.
Defense Type
Defense types are built for durability and stability. Most Defense-type Beyblades stay near the center of the stadium and spin sturdily, absorbing hits from aggressive opponents.
They are difficult to topple and even harder to knock out. However, their solid, rock-like build comes at a cost. Because they focus on stability, they tend to have slower movement and limited maneuverability. While they excel at withstanding attacks, they may struggle to chase down faster opponents.
Stamina Type
Compared to Attack and Defense types, Stamina types are designed to spin the longest. Their typically lighter-weight builds allow them to conserve energy efficiently throughout the battle.
The strategy for Stamina types is to avoid unnecessary clashes, outlast opponents, and secure victory by exhausting them. By dodging heavy impacts and maintaining smooth rotation, they aim to win through endurance rather than power.
Balance Type
Balance types are the most versatile of the four. They are designed to mix offensive, defensive, and stamina capabilities, effectively bridging the gap between specialized types.
These Beyblades often combine elements such as attack and defense, or stamina and attack, allowing them to adapt to different matchups. While Balance types offer flexibility and adaptability, they can sometimes be outclassed by highly specialized Attack or Stamina builds in competitive play.
Understanding these four playstyles is the foundation of mastering matchups in Beyblade X. As players gain experience, they can experiment with customization to refine their strategy, turning weaknesses into strengths and adapting to any opponent they face.
