Everyone might remember back in August when we announced the exciting news: the One Piece Trading Card Game (English version) was finally set to launch in Asia. Well, the wait is officially over! The starter decks are here, and they’re ready for you to grab and start your journey in the One Piece TCG world.
Is this tournament legal?
YES! That’s the best part, players who wish to change to English from Japanese or introduce their friends to play One Piece can start off from the English version and they’ll still be able to attend events.
Do note despite the availability of English cards, there will be no English One Piece TCG tournaments held locally. English players will join Japanese events and compete for Japanese cards.
I play Japanese version before this can I mix and match?
Yes! Tired of playing Japanese version. Just hop on the English version and continue from there. ―English players can also use Japanese cards in their decks.
So, what’s the difference?
Each deck is technically the same but what set the difference is that the English Starters contain PRB-01 English packs. Who knows, you might just be lucky enough to get a God Pack from your starters.
