Nintendo is best known to make interesting devices that doesn’t conform to the gaming norm all in the name of fun. It is amazing enough to see what Nintendo Switch is capable of, a transformable console that adapt to any environment in a compact package. But Nintendo think it can do much more.

Nintendo officially unveiled Nintendo Labo, a new line of accessories for the Nintendo Switch that provides a new way to play. The new accessories is made out of cardboard & some assembly skill is required to construct it. 

Nintendo Labo consist of 2 Toy-Con kits. Toy-Con Variety Kit consist of 5 Toy-Cons projects where you can build RC car, fishing rod, house, motorbike & piano. These Toy-Cons made use of Nintendo Switch infra-red camera & Joy-Con sensors to create interesting new gameplay. Toy-Con Robot Kit is where you build an exo-suit where you can control robot in-game. You can also personalize your Toy-Con with Customization Set. Since it is made out of cardboard, you can simply use your household stationaries if you want to go wild with personalization your Toy-Con.

Both of these kits comes with all the bits & pieces to construct your kit & a software for your Toy-Con kits.

Nintendo Labo Toy-Con Kits will be available on 20th April 2018 in the USA. Toy-Con Variety Kit cost USD$69.99 & Toy-Con Robot Kit cost USD$79.99. No pricing & availabity for other region announced just yet.
