It was an intense battle between the best players in the region with not only local participants, we have international participants joined as well at Tekken 7 x SoulCalibur VI Borneo Tournament 2018 which was held during HobbyCon event from 8th-9th December 2018 at ITCC, Penampang, Sabah.

Qasim Meer 'Dark Way' flew all the way from Pakistan to Kota Kinabalu to participate the Tekken 7 Champion for Tekken 7 x SoulCalibur VI Borneo Tournament 2018. His determination shows as he became the champion in the Tekken 7 event, as he walked away with a PlayStation 4 Pro Spider-Man Limited Edtion & RM2,000 cash prize.

1st Runner Up went to Muhammad Adriyansyah Jusuf ‘SoG l Meat’ from Indonesia who brought home RM1000 cash prize and 2nd Runner Upwent to Marwan Ghilan 'Shrimboo' from Yemen who brought home RM500 cash prize.

The presence of international players certainly bring the heat to competition against local players creating excitement among the players and audience. It was an eye-opening experience which has brought local players out of their comfort zone and motivate them to improve better by stepping up their game.
